SEMESTER 2 2021
Remote Learning has allowed our students to engage in music in a very different way to how we might usually in the face to face classroom. Whilst I have missed seeing students on a weekly basis, the chance for them to work with online tools has been very valuable and has given many students a renewed interest in learning music.
Our students have delved into many musical concepts over the last 10 weeks and have enjoyed working with programs such as Xylo and Chrome Music Lab, as well as more traditional listening and appreciation of famous works.
Many students who play instruments have been able to share their talents via video and it is very inspiring to see the value that music has within the Abbotsford Public School community. I look forward to being reunited with our students in the classroom and bringing all our ideas together for a fantastic Term 4.

We choose to recognise the Wangal People of the Eora Nation as the true owners of the land on which we stand: of the sky above and of the water that surrounds us. We thank the Elders, both of the past and the present, who are the traditional custodians of this country and we promise to care for the land and respect it as they have done. As we play and learn together, we extend that respect to all Aboriginal people here today.
