The school council meets on 2 occasions each term (4 times per year) and is made up of teacher and parent representatives:
- Elected parent representatives - 2
- Elected staff representatives - 2
- Community Representative - appointed by the school council
- P&C President or representative from the P&C executive
- Principal
The school council is the finance committee of the school and discusses issues of policy.
The school council does not have any control over the performance of staff.
The school council may provide a panel member to interview for staff positions including Principal, Deputy Principal, Assistant Principal and Classroom Teachers.
