Music Program

The Abbotsford P&C music program consists of two concert bands, two string ensembles, two recorder classes, a drumming circle and a rock band. Participation in these ensembles is offered as an extra-curricular activity, with opportunities available for students of all ages and experience levels.

All groups perform regularly at school functions and Music Ensemble Nights. Advanced ensembles represent the school at events including Ferragosto and the Festival of Instrumental Music at the Opera House.

Instrument hire and private tuition are co-ordinated by the P&C, with many qualified teachers teaching on campus after school hours.
